Our Story
The Kistp® story begins in 2015 when our founder, John Smith, discovered his love for electric bikes while traveling through China. After renting an e-bike to get around busy city streets, John was hooked. He loved the freedom and ease an electric bike provided. No more struggling with gears or working up a sweat biking uphill!
When John returned home to the United States, he was disappointed by the lack of affordable, quality electric bikes. Much of what was available was bulky, poorly made, and overpriced. John saw an opportunity to bring high-quality, innovative electric bikes from China to US consumers at reasonable prices. And so Kistp® Ebike was born!
John started small, importing a container of electric bikes and selling them online. To his surprise and delight, they sold out almost immediately! The seeds for the business were planted. John reinvested the profits to grow the inventory and refined the most popular models.
Over the next few years, the Kistp® brand steadily grew as word spread about the unbeatable value we provide. We moved out of John’s garage into a small warehouse, then a larger one, and now occupy a 30,000 square foot facility. Our product line has expanded to include electric scooters, electric skateboards, and a wide range of e-bike models.
